The
SAP Warehouse Management Specialist
will be reporting directly to the Director, SAP S/4 Hana Center of Excellence (CoE), and will have an important role in the warehouse management and inventory management areas and support our manufacturing and distribution business.The SAP Warehouse Management Specialist will be expected to be a"hands-on expert in SAP ECC & SAP S/4 EWM/WM/IM and has implemented S/4 Hana EWM / WM / IM multiple times using a global template rollout approach. The position may require some travel within the Americas and internationally. Having a strong customer focus and service orientation is key for this position.
What will you be doing?
Hands-on SAP Global EWM solution design, configuration, rollouts and support in SAP S/4 & SAP ECC. Responsible for working with other areas within SAP like SD/QM/ MM/MDG to provide a comprehensive solutionEWM Workstream Lead for S/4 Hana global implementation and will be responsible for all the project activities related to the workstreamDevelop a deep understanding of ESI's business processes and strategy through collaboration and regular engagement with key stakeholders and process owners, and translate the business requirements into functionalities within SAPResearching, documenting, adhering to clean core / best practices utilizing SAP and Chemical industry best practices in the warehouse management areaResponsible for implementation of strong application maintenance processes and SLAs in all areas of responsibility (break fix, preventive and minor enhancements )Provide leadership in the SAP S/4 Hana EWM area including establishing standards and requirements, evaluating enhancements, and implementing solutions, systems configuration, design and implementation.As a key support resource for SAP North Americas support organization, address all SAP support tickets in the SAP WM area based on prioritization in a timely manner. Recording incidents, working on root cause analysis, and providing permanent resolutions working with internal technical teams to resolve the issue and avoid them from happening repeatedlyDocumentation: Responsible for the development of detailed documentation related to business processes mapped and implemented within SAP including documentation of the downstream and upstream system impacts.Normal expected travel is approximately 20-25%.Who are You?
Bachelor's degree in a related field, or equivalent experience required.8+ years strong hands-on work experience in SAP WM out of which 4+ years in EWM is required in a business facing roleKey EWM/WM resource experienced in multiple SAP S/4 implementations with demonstrated consulting experience in the warehouse management process areas. One full life-cycle global SAP S/4 Hana project is preferredExperience in the overall Warehouse Management process using SAP S/4 Hana EWMExposure to Production execution under discreet manufacturing and process manufacturing preferably in a chemical industry settingMust have experience supporting distribution processes, barcoding, scanning and labellingExperience in integration between SAP EWM with SAP PP and Shop floor control systems or manufacturing execution systems is a plusGood Understanding on Master Data configurations and business process mapping for example Business Partner, warehouse structure, storage typesGood hands-on knowledge on Fiori appsBatch Management in goods receipt and goods issue processingPackaging Specifications and Mapping customer specific requirementsInternal warehouse processes, Warehouse controls & warehouse MonitoringWe understand that not all candidates may meet the requirements listed above.
