Responsibilities Include, But Are Not Limited ToNetwork Engineering - Troubleshooting\Tier II\Tier III supportNetwork Monitoring - SolarWinds\Cisco PINetwork Documentation - Visio Drawings\Develop SOPsDiagnosing and resolving the toughest performance, security, and/or technical challenges related to the platforms listed aboveWriting SOP (Standard Operating Procedures) to accomplish repetitive tasksParticipating in processes throughout all phases of ITIL Service Lifecycle, including submitting Change RequestsResponsibility for investigating and resolving operational problems in conjunction with other engineering and technical personnelOther tasks to include requirements specification, performance modeling, end-to-end functional analysis, cost estimation, and joint application designWorking on project teams responsible for engineering and packaging releases to integrate within the customer's production IT environmentBasic Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field; 4 years of Networking experience might be substituted for a degreeExperience writing reports with accurate grammar and writing styleCisco CCNA level knowledgeMicrosoft Visio\Word\Excel experienceDoD 8570.1 / DoD 8140.01 (IAT III Level) certification within 6 months of hireDoD 8570 Computing Environment certification within 6 months of hireExperience using and administering SolarWindsKnowledge of Microsoft Windows Systems, HP SANs, VMware productsTravel up to 25%Preferred Qualifications
One of the following certifications is desired: MCSE - Microsoft Certified System Engineer, MCSE - Microsoft Certified Solutions Expert, MCSA - Microsoft Certified Solutions Associate, MCITP - Microsoft Certified Information Technology Professional, VMware VCP - VMware Certified Professional, CCNA - Cisco Certified Network AdministratorITIL Foundations or later certification highly desiredKnowledge of Microsoft OfficeExperience using a Service Desk ticketing system, such as Remedy or ServiceNowPrevious customer service experience strongly desiredGeneral Dynamics Encryptor experienceSolarWinds experience\knowledgeCisco Prime Infrastructure experience\knowledgeMicrosoft Systems experience a plusSecurity Clearance Requirements
US Citizenship required and active TS/SCI clearance adjudicated within the last 6 years.Candidate must be open to random poly.Physical Requirements
Must be able to remain in a stationary position 50%.Needs to occasionally move about inside the office to access file cabinets, office machinery, etc.Frequently communicates with co-workers, management, and customers, which may involve delivering presentations.Must be able to exchange accurate information in these situations.The projected compensation range for this position is $109,100.00-$181,100.00. There are differentiating factors that can impact a final salary/hourly rate, including, but not limited to, Contract Wage Determination, relevant work experience, skills and competencies that align to the specified role, geographic location (For Remote Opportunities), education and certifications as well as Federal Government Contract Labor categories. In addition, ManTech invests in it's employees beyond just compensation.
