Located within the College of Continuing Education, OU CPM specializes in providing training, research, and consulting to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of public sector agencies, staff, and community partners. As a Senior Administrative Support Specialist you will enjoy:14 paid holidays each calendar year27 days of leave accrued each yearComprehensive insurance optionsRetirement Savings plansOU Tuition waiversThe core duties and responsibilities of this role revolve around supporting the CPM Administrative Office and CPM Human Resources department. The ideal candidate would have excellent organizational skills, attention to detail, event planning experience, and is competent with computers (including Microsoft Office, Qualtrics, SharePoint, Visio, and InDesign).
Essential Duties include but are not limited to:
Support job recruitment efforts and strategiesSupport organization wide collection of required forms and reportingPlans and organizes meetings and programs, including coordinating CPM Em ployee Orientation event.Maintains CPM SharePoint and develops Monthly NewsletterMaintains office files that may be of a confidential nature.Schedule various appointments for office personnel and ensures administrative details are completed.Receives incoming calls for office personnel and refers to appropriate person. Records messages or responds to caller with routine information. Serves as a contact person for other employees or the outside public.Responsible for preparing correspondence. Reviews and responds to routine correspondence for the office personnel.Prepares various reports and makes copies and assembles materials.May assist the payroll coordinator.Performs related duties as assigned to successfully fulfill the function of the position.This position works onsite full time.
Job Requirements
Required Education:
High School Diploma or GED.
24 months office, clerical, or administrative experience.Skills :
Knowledge of office proceduresGeneral office and customer service skillsKnowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Excel, and Word)Excellent interpersonal skillsAbility to work independently and as a team playerAbility to complete tasks in an efficient and timely mannerMust be detail oriented for accuracy of data and informationAbility to multitask, be organized, and self-motivatedAbility to work in stressful situationsAbility to communicate verbally and in writingCertifications :
NoneAdvertised Physical Requirements:
Sit for prolonged periods.Communicate effectively and listens.Engage in repetitive motion.Use of computer and telephone.Stand, stoop, bend, and reach.Standard office environment.Departmental Preferences:
