Test Automation Engineer:
Description:
Develop, document, and execute test plans, test cases, and test scripts
Perform functional, regression, performance, and usability testing
Identify, record, and track defects
Analyze testing results and provide suggestions to improve software quality
Automate testing processes using appropriate tools and frameworks (90% automated, 10% manual currently)
Skills:
software testing, python, C++, bug tracking, agile methodologies, scrum methodology
Additional Skills & Qualifications:
MUST HAVE:
Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or a related field; preferably with GPA of 3.2 or higher
Proven experience in software testing with a solid understanding of testing methodologies
Familiarity with test automation tools (Selenium, Pytest)
Experience with bug tracking and test management tools (JIRA, Trac, Bugzilla)
PLUS:
Knowledge of MULTIPLE programming languages (Javascript, Python, C++)
Experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies.
