Job Summary:
Responsibilities include management of materials, including demand, releases, and receipts using SAP, supplier performance and supply management for assigned suppliers, products and facilities, manage material inventory plans for assigned items, align and coordinate efforts with operations and production planning to ensure timely receipt of all materials, develop unique inventory plans by category and customer, ensure realization of department goals and objectives, execute and maintain functional best practicesManage location capacity planning 13 weeks rolling, in parallel to the labor capacityHandle designated customer accounts on a daily basis-Prepare, set up and train staff on new developments, projects and customers.Manage the external demand with our supply constraints to deliver customer service while optimizing our run strategy and establishing run rulesReach out for help cross functionally to meet the on time, in full customer expectationsEstablish best practices with demand planning time fences, weekly cadence and external reportingVoice of the Customer for Sales when making priority decisionsAbility to handle multiple high-pressure tasksMaintain and place orders with Third Party Logistics for material inventoryMonitor schedules and Bill of Material for productionMaintain credibility of inventory and make corrections as needed.Reconcile production ordersCycle-Count to maintain credibility of locations and quantities.Special Projects "counting"Partner with Shipping Department to determine inventory to be moved in/out of the facilityCommunicate with carriers for inbound purchase ordersJob Duties:

Analyze SAP reports and dataIdentifies and implement cost reductionsEnsure material is available to eliminate line downtimeAssists with the development and implementation and sustainment of policies and proceduresIdentifies and drives best practices within total supply chain, including the development of supplier and supply related metricsManage the supplierManage designated customer orders and schedule orders for deliveryRecommends potential issues to management by collecting customer information and analyzing customer needsSchedule conference calls with customers or carriers to develop working relationshipsFacilitate training on new developments with SAP/YardviewInteracts with customer and carriers via phone or e-mail on a regular basisOther duties as assignedRequired Competencies & Knowledge:

Work Environment:

SAP Experience is required2-5 years of more of relevant business experience in materials/inventory preferredBachelor's Degree is preferred or equivalent work experienceManufacturing experience is required, and food industry is preferredProduction Planning is required.Sponsorship for work authorization is not available for this position.
