Minimum Qualifications:

Skilled in Microsoft OfficeProficiency in Meal Magic Software5 years of elementary and secondary kitchen management and training experience requiredKnowledge of the NSLPExceptional organizational skillsServSafe CertifiedAble to lift 40 poundsInterpersonal skills and the ability to work well with othersSkilled in food inventory and ordering with detailed accuracy

Performance Responsibilities:

Assist with professional standards.Update and maintain the Meal Magic Nutrition Software.Assist with staff training.Assist with food/milk orders and commodity management.Monitoring sites for compliance.Communications between office and kitchens.Assist in the production and distribution of marketing material.Fill in for staff upon demand.Ability to locate, read and apply child nutrition label requirements for menu planning and compliance.Daily bank reconciles and checking building deposit/transaction for errors.Update recipe book, red binder and training manual as needed.Assist in the development of Ala carte and smart snacks to maintain compliance.Responsible for servings per case document and production sheets.All other duties as assigned.

Reports To:Director, Nutrition and Purchasing Services

Workday/Week:Monday - Friday, approximately 8 hours per day

Starting Date:TBD

Compensation:$19.50 per hour
