JOB SUMMARY (Purpose of the Job & high-level summary):
The Molina Healthcare Internship Program shares an objective to create a steppingstone for students who aim to be professionals and future leaders in the healthcare business profession. Interns are assigned special projects and various other duties that are intended to provide them with valuable professional work experience and industry insight. The purpose of an internship is to develop talent by providing students with experiential learning, formal training and opportunities to interact with healthcare professionals and community leaders. Interns will perform meaningful work alongside talented professionals, gaining insight to Molina’s culture, Mission and Values.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES
Intern #1
Network and Operations
Will work with the Contracting Professionals to analyze and catalogue providers based on type, size, impact, and geography using salesforce applications
Will work with the network team to create reports and gain an understanding of the salesforce environment to inform strategic action across Wisconsin
Will work with the entire Network and Operations team to understand workflows, create a proposed document cataloging approach and execute on the approach in SharePoint and Teams
Experience with SharePoint and Teams
Experience with Sales Force preferred
Proficient with Office 365
Preferred Experience
Must possess clear and professional written, verbal and interpersonal communication skills.
Strong work ethic, self-motivated and ability to develop relationships.
Good time management, organizational and interpersonal skills required
Computer experience including MS Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint and experience with internet research.
Excellent critical thinking/problem solving skills
Ability to handle confidential information
Ability to maintain confidentiality and to comply with Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (HIPAA)
REQUIRED EDUCATION:
Candidate must currently be enrolled in an undergraduate program as a current freshman or sophomore with a minimum GPA of 3.0 or higher and pursuing a bachelor's degree with preference in the following areas – Business Administration, Healthcare Administration preferred but not required.
Candidate must possess unrestricted authorization to work in the United States.

Pay Range: $9.25 - $18.05 / HOURLY
