Job description Pinnacle Government Consulting, Inc. is seeking experienced Senior Policy Analysts / Management Consultants with experience supporting Department of Defense (DoD) policy programs and initiatives. The individuals in this position will play a pivotal role in executing policy analysis, research, writing, editing, and coordination in support of our DoD client’s component-wide policy program. Responsibilities Conduct comprehensive policy analysis, interpretation, and assessment of federal policies and directives, with a special focus on DoD issuances. Collaborate closely with our client to understand their unique policy needs and provide tailored solutions. Lead and facilitate the development and coordination of policy documents to ensure the effective execution of DoD issuances at the Client-Component level. Collaborate closely with colleagues across the Client-Component to assist in the writing and preparation of policy documents, utilizing professional and concise communications. Coordinate the compilation of feedback and comments to Client-Component issuances from multiple stakeholders. Monitor, track, and communicate updates and changes to Client-Component policies to keep clients informed and compliant. Construct high-quality deliverables and briefings, ensuring that deliverables are properly formatted and produced according to specifications. Review and revise policy documents and other communications for adherence to style requirements and accuracy and quality, e.g., grammar, punctuation and syntax. Provide policy recommendations and insights to assist clients in making informed decisions and optimizing policy implementation. Stay current with emerging DoD-level and Client-Component-level policy trends, changes, and best practices. Lead day-to-day program activities, including: identifying, documenting, and assessing requirements and risks; interfacing with and generating reports; and completing and reviewing work products to ensure timeliness and completeness in accordance with requirements. Support program management activities including documenting and following standard operating procedures, tracking and reporting metrics, documenting meeting notes, performing systems data entry, and executing administrative tasks. Participate in the development and execution of business process improvement efforts, including: identification of client needs; constructing project plans; assessing current laws and regulations; evaluating risks and benefits; constructing process flows; recommending and designing solutions; and implementing improvements. Participate in company building activities including proposal development, constructing white papers, and contributing to internal company initiatives. Required Qualifications Bachelor’s Degree. At least 10 years of work experience. Active US government Secret Security Clearance Excellent technical writing and editing skills with strong attention to detail. Strong written and verbal communication skills. Ability to work independently with the ability to adapt quickly to dynamic work environments. Proficiency with Microsoft Office, including Outlook, PowerPoint, Excel, and Word. Preferred Qualifications In-depth knowledge of DoD policies, directives, and regulatory frameworks. Experience providing policy guidance and analysis to government agencies or clients. Federal Government Consulting Experience
