Overview We are seeking a highly motivated molecular and cellular biologist or biotechnologist to support discovery and development campaigns focused on next-generation biotherapies for serious unmet medical needs. The candidate will work within a multidisciplinary team, conducting molecular biology and protein engineering on a diverse array of biological drug candidates. Responsibilities Responsibilities Design, optimize, and execute molecular biology experiments to support lead candidate selection. Optimize and perform DNA based assays (PCR and DNA purification, quantification, and QC analyses). Culture mammalian cell lines and conduct transient transfections of mammalian cells for protein expression. Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to advance projects. Maintain accurate, detailed, and timely records. Qualifications Requires a minimum of a Masters' degree in molecular biology or related field or a Bachelors' degree with at least 2 years of experience. Requires expertise with routine molecular biology methods including PCR, DNA isolation, and molecular cloning. Proficiency with SNAPgene, Graphpad Prism, Excel, or similar scientific software is required. Hands-on experience with mammalian cell culture, protein purification, enzyme assays, and protein gel electrophoresis are strongly preferred. Experience with recombinant protein expression and purification preferred. Experience with flow cytometry desirable but not required. DNA and RNA quantification and quality assessment methodologies (e.g., TapeStation or Qubit) desirable but not required. Experience with library preparation for NGS desirable but not required. Excellent organizational skills and ability to prioritize among diverse tasks are a must.
