Certification Details ACLS, BLS, NRP, AWHONN certifications required Certs: ACLS, BLS, NRP, AWHONN Job Details A hospital in California is looking for an experienced L&D/PP nurse for a travel contract. The right candidate will have 2 full years of experience, hold an active BLS, ACLS, NRP, AWHONN and CA License. Job Requirements 2 full years of experience in L&D/PP required, travel experience is preferred. Active BLS, ACLS, NRP, AWHONN, and CA License. C-section experience required: must be able to circulate for csections. Floating: float between PP and L&D, candidates have to have experience with both. Schedule Information Shifts: 12 hr shifts, 6-6 Weekend Requirement: every other No Call Requirement Holidays: they will work them in with perm staff rotation Unit Specific Information Unit: L&D/PP Ratios: follow AWOHNN guidelines FHM System: fetal link EMR: Cerner Charge Nurse: yes but they do not take a patient assignment Nurse Aides/OB tech: OB tech - one on day shift and one on night shift Scrub Color: hospital provided Tele: phillips OB/Neonatologist in house: on call IV Team: no RT 24/7: yes Pharmacy 24/7: No - use Marian for after hours after 10pm Additional Details COVID Vaccine Required No first time travelers Floor specific orientation: 3 shifts Common diagnosis / Types of patients: 34 weeks and above, high risk deliveries, birth plans are very important and followed by most of patient population
