The Deburr Technician works with the quality team to ensure that ISO standards are met. The Deburr Technician plays a strong role of teamwork among the Final Inspection Team.ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIESThe essential functions include, but are not limited to the following:Performs daily deburring activities using a variety of hand tools and machineryMay be required to perform basic inspection requirements to verify dimensional and visual compliance to customer drawingsAbility to read and interpret blueprints and workmanship standardsMaintains neat and orderly work areaComplies with safety regulations in all aspects of performing job responsibilitiesGives close attention to detailCompletes all production and quality logs dailyAny other duties assigned by Final Inspection SupervisorMINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS (KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES)Basic knowledge of hand toolsExperience with measuring toolsStrong written and verbal communication skillsAttentive to detail; organized.Ability to work independentlyAbility to take initiative, to maintain confidentiality, to meet deadlines, and to work in a team environmentProficient in MS Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and related software.PHYSICAL DEMANDS AND WORK ENVIRONMENTThe physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this position. Employee will be responsible for looking at all angles of parts in the machine and on pallets. The employee is occasionally required to sit.
