The Director of Community Relations is responsible forachieving maximum occupancy and total revenue potential of the community byattracting qualified prospects and converting those prospects into Residents.

Responsible for communityoutreach and education activities for creating referralsRegularly meets goals,including but not limited to: time inselling zone, time in outreach zone, voice-to-voice calls, tours, home visits,prospect case studies and creative follow-up and exceeding occupancy to budgetResponds to inquiries,schedules visits, conducts tours, and closes sales per sales and marketinggoalsConducts daily and weeklyreviews of prospects in the pipeline, i.e., Hot BoardParticipates in salesmeetings, including but not limited to semi-annual marketing meetings with AgeWellSolvere LivingEnsures marketing team isusing Sherpa for all internal and external sales activitiesParticipates in Stand-Upmeeting providing updates to team members on census, projected move-ins, tours,events, etcProvides MarketingCoordinator the new Resident and Family contact information to assist in themove-in process, including all required paperwork, unit readiness, and ResidentrequestsParticipates in eventson-site as well as off-siteWorks with the ExecutiveDirector to resolve any Community first impression issuesReviews weekly productivityreport for accuracyParticipates in weeklysales call with AgeWell Solvere LivingWorks collaboratively withdepartment heads to emphasize the team's role in salesProvides Manager on Dutyweekend coverage as scheduledUpdates key competitorevaluations and price surveys semi-annuallyFollows all emergencyproceduresUnderstands all safetypractices and proceduresExhibits excellent customerservice and public relations skillsIs creative, energetic,enthusiastic, patient, flexible, encouraging, and team-orientedDisplays patience, tact,enthusiasm and a cheerful dispositionPromotes the Community in apositive manner and effectively communicates AgeWell Solvere Living ManagedCommunity values to residents, families, visitors, and team membersQualifications:

College degree preferredExcellent customer service and public relations skillsCheerful personalityKeen desire to serve seniorsFive years sales/marketing experience with a proven track recordPreviously senior living experience preferredEffective problem-solving skillsCreative approach to goals and problemsExperience working with seniorsDemonstrates proficiency in Microsoft Office and other marketing-related softwarePhysically able to bend and reachPhysically able to push and pull and lift up to 40-50 pounds if necessaryPhysically able to stand for extended periods of timeSpends at least 30% of time on travel to referral sources in market areaMiscellaneous:

May have their picture taken and image used in social media or community advertisingMay be video recorded from devices installed by families in residents' apartmentsMay spend as much as 75% of time on travel to referral sources in market areaMay be required to work weekends and holidays as assignedMay be required to work on shifts other than the one for which hiredSubject to exposure to infectious waste, diseases, conditions, etc., including HIV, AIDS, and Hepatitis B and C virusesCould be subject to hostile and emotionally upset Residents due to mental statusBackground, criminal, and drug tests may be requiredMay be asked to submit to random drug test during employmentCommunity calls may be monitored or recorded for quality assurance purposes.
