Must have 2+ years of ICU experienceHold an active BLS, ACLS, NIHCA license requiredSchedule Information
Every other weekendWould be required to fill in gaps in weekend schedule8s & 12s (mostly 12s) shiftsOn call responsibilities depending on census/staffing mismatch with a 30-minute response timeCall: Must be within 30 minutes of hospitalUnit Specific Information
Unit: ICU# of beds: 16 and can go to 20 bedsRatios: 1:1, 1:2EMR: CernerWeekend Requirement: Every other weekendHolidays: Work into the holiday scheduleScrub Color: NavyHospitalist or Intensivist in house: 24 hr intensivist (on call at night)RT 24/7: YesPharmacy 24/7: YesFloating: float to tele 4 to 1Floor specific orientation: 2 shifts in ICU then on own 3rd shiftCommon diagnosis / Types of patients include: Adults & Peds - MedSurg, Neuro, Balloon pumps, cranies, occasional ICP, CABG, some trauma, psych - OD, peds minor/DKA, TPA, hypothermia, ECMO, Impalla, CRRT - PrismaFlex, TAVR, & EVAR, may start doing carotid stenting, ECOS, IABPAdditional Details
Holiday RTO will be considered, however not guaranteedCharge Nurse does not carry patientsNurse Aides: NoTele: PhillipsVents: Yes, Draeger Vents - per RTIV Team during the day
