The right candidate will have 2 full years of experience, hold an active BLS, ACLS and CA License.Prefer CCRN.Cerner experience required.Schedule Information
12 hr shifts, 0630-1900, 1830-0700Every other weekendHolidays: rotate with core staffUnit Specific Information
Prefers 3 years of experience;Huddle report and bedside report;EOW, first to floatAdditional Details
**12/9 or 12/16 start ONLY **Unit: ICU# beds: 32 (licensed for 40)Ratios: 2:1Charge Nurse: Yes - no patient assignment.Nurse Aides: Usually 1 on days only.Scrub Color: RN-Navy Blue, NA- Hunter GreenNo monitor techs. RNs read and interpret own strips.Drips: Yes - pressors, antiarrhythmics, sedation, etc.Vents: YesHospitalist or Intensivist in house: YesIV Team: NoRT 24/7: YesPharmacy 24/7: YesFloating: Tele and any ED ICU/Tele holdsFloor specific orientation: Day 1 - 8hrs ICU educator, 4hrs with preceptor. Day 2 - 12hrs with preceptor.Common diagnosis / Types of patients: Higher level-neuro/Cardiac/PCI/Sepsis/ETOH/Stroke. Ventrics, TBI, Camino ICP monitoring.
