Travel Nurse RN - Labor and Delivery - $2,448 per week

Certification Details ACLS BLS NRP STABLE Required Certifications: NPR, BLS, ACLS, STABLE Job Details A hospital in Southern Idaho is in need of an RN with 3 years of experience with Women's Services (L&D and PP) for a 13 week travel assignment. The nurses will be working 12 hour shifts. Ideal candidates must have 3 years experience with L&D, Post-Partum, and OR Circulation / Triage. Job Requirements Must have 3 years of L&D experience Must have mother baby experience- prefer 1 year Okay with a first time traveler Must have experience and be able to attend deliveries and complete 1 hour of newborn care, triage, Circulate C/S, and provide Postpartum Couplet Care Must have experience with magnesium Charge nurse experience preferred RNs required to titrate drips Able to work with Pitocin Protocol, Magnesium Protocol, Insulin drips Schedule Information Working 12 hour shifts Shifts & Scheduling allowance for self-scheduling and block scheduling Schedule travelers will fill in the holes; next schedule travelers can give preference Do NOT guarantee Block Scheduling- cannot work 6 shifts in a row No minimum requirement for weekends No set requirement for holidays No Call Required Unit Specific Information of LDRP Beds: 14 of OR Suites on the unit for C-Sections: 2 suites of Triage beds: 4 of Births per day? Month? Year?: 90/month, 1200/year Common diagnoses/Types of patients: 32 week gestation and greater, HTN, BACs, TOLACs, some gestational diabetes Experience with antepartum patients, but do not take placenta previa or placenta accreta. Follow AWHONN Staffing Standards for ratios: 1:1 labor, 1:3 postpartum couplets care, triage 1:3 Admin Supervisor on every shift. Charge RNs do not take an assignment RN aids/surgical techs duties: 1 CST and 1 CNA per shift OB/Neonatologist in house 24/7 Anesthesia in house 24/7 RT Equipment available for troubleshooting EFM System: Centricity Additional Details Travelers extend and come back No fingernail lacquer policy Travel duos will need 2 cars Scrubs could be different at different sites- this site is the only LDRP site. This facility has a radius rule of 50 miles. The candidates' perm address will be required in the submittal to confirm they are outside of that specified radius before proceeding with the profile review.
