A large hospital in Arizona is looking for experienced ER/Emergency Room RNs for a travel assignment.The right candidate will have 2 years of experience, hold an active BLS, ACLS, PALS and TNCC.Also must have an active AZ license or compact.Job Requirements

MUST HAVE 1 YEAR OF TRAUMA LEVEL 1 EXPERIENCE; WILL SCREEN 8 MONTHS+MUST HAVE CERNER EXPERIENCE, PLEASE NOTE ON RESUME UNDER WORK HISTORY TO CONFIRM HOW RECENT*NO FIRST TIME TRAVELERS*Schedule Information

Shifts: 7a-7p, 7p-7a, 11a-11p, 1p-1aWeekend Requirement: 4 weekend shifts per month, at unit discretionCandidate is required to pass DYS exam PRIOR to accepting. 2 attemptsUnit Specific Information

Unit: ED / Trauma# beds: Acute - 36 and Subacute - 54.

Trauma bays - 6 (no travelers)Ratios: 1:4 ratioEMR: CernerCharge Nurse: 2 Charge RNs - will task or have light patient load.Nurse Aides: 4-PCTs for sitters.Scrub Color: NavyTele: Phillips monitors, must be able to read strips.Vents: Managed by RTHospitalist or Intensivists in house: Minimum of 2 MDs or as many as 8.IV Team: Core RNs are US trained.RT 24/7: YesPharmacy 24/7: Yes, Pharmacist in ER 10hrs/dayFloating: Float within ER.Floor specific orientation: 2-3 shifts on the floor.Common diagnosis / Types of patients: Trauma, Burns, Peds transferred out. CP Center, Spinal Cord 88,000 patients per year, 250-300 per day.Additional Notes: 30-40 psych holds. 2 years ER experience.12 days, 4 total weekend shifts per 4 weeks, 2 out of 3 major holidaysAdditional Details

Float Policy: Can be floated between St. Joseph's Main, St. Joseph's Westgate, and the 2 Free Standing ERs in Litchfield Park & Glendale.
