Travel Nurse RN - ICU - Intensive Care Unit - $2,485 per week

Certification Details Hold an active BLS, ACLS, NIH and CA License. Job Details A hospital in California is looking for an experienced ICU nurse for a travel contract. The right candidate will have 2 full years of experience. Job Requirements Must have 2 years experience in ICU. Previous travel experience is preferred. Schedule Information Shifts: 12 hr shifts, 7-7. Self-scheduling used but not always guaranteed. Weekend Requirement: every other. Unit Specific Information Certs: ACLS, BLS, NIH. Ratios: 1 to 1-2. EMR: Cerner. Tele/Monitor Techs: Phillips - they will have a monitor tech if above a certain census, nurses are required to read and interpret tele strips. Drips: Norepinephrine, precadex, epinephrine, vasopressin, etc. Vents: Puritan Bennette 840. IV Team: No. RT 24/7: Yes. Pharmacy 24/7: Yes. Common diagnosis / Types of patients: neuro trauma, cardiac - surgical, open heart, post cath, aortic dissection, fem pops, thoracotomies, CRRT, Etc. Additional Details COVID Vaccine Required. Weekend Requirement: every other. Holidays: they will work them in with perm staff rotation. Scrub Color: navy. Floating: They will have to float to AG to work ICU. Floor specific orientation: 1 shift.
