This position is responsible for the management, planning and administration of sales activities for the Chemical Injection Pump product lines within target sales areas or by customer within the Permian region. support the strategic growth objectives while maintaining a profitable gross-margin for the regionDeliver annual, quarterly, and monthly sales in the region with high levels of accountability, integrity, and ethicsDevelop relationships with internal sales teams, leverage synergies and promote chemical injection pumps and drive joint sales opportunitiesDevelop a strategic sales plan that identifies prospects and customers, prioritizes them according to importance and ability to provide resultsDevelop annual marketing strategy in conjunction with the Director of Sales and the inside sales team and identify joint marketing opportunities where applicablePerform market assessments, competitor analyses, pricing strategies and execute counter strategies to gain market shareDraw conclusions from market assessment data on the competitive environment and the company’s strengths, weaknesses, opportunities, and targets, and provide ideas and suggestions to the leadership teamSet-up customer appointments to conduct sales presentations to promote, sell, and apply our complete product line in a regional sales areaManage assigned accounts as well as developing new accounts, projects, or other sales opportunities necessary to meet the revenue goals of an assigned geo-region and associated territoriesCreate/maintain customers relationships for new or repetitive businessCollaborate and provide performance feedback to Manufacture Representatives/Distributors for the area of responsibilityCommunicate with the Sales Team and the Production Team regularly to guarantee that sales and client objectives are metProvide product training at the field and corporate levels for all customer typesEvaluate and implement appropriate sales techniques to increase regional sales volumeProvide periodic sales activity report as requiredAttend relevant product conventions, sales seminars, and tradeshowsManage a geo-region to deliver sales revenues, customer support and objectives as defined by the Director of SalesProvide customers with technical support and expertise in reviewing specifications and applying the productsManage sales, profit margins and operational expenses for designated sales territoryDevelop and execute meaningful growth strategies that will deliver incremental & repeatable sales revenuesDevelop and update reliable sales forecastsIdentify, qualify, and convert project and new customer sales opportunities that will contribute to the territory revenuesPromote integrity and ethical behavior with customers, partners, and employees according to ChampionX policiesDevelop install base in adjacent segments to diversify market share in other regions outside of O&GParticipate in Lean events with active involvement in CI initiativesReport unsafe acts or conditions to supervision immediately as noticedPosition Details:Candidate must reside in Midland/Odessa, TX or surrounding areasRoute Territory will include the Permian regionWork week and shift: Monday through Friday, 8AM to 5PM, flexibility for travel and customer support in the field or at customer sitesCompensation package offered: competitive base salary paid bi-weekly and eligibility for a quarterly sales incentive bonus based on meeting sales, business and personal career objectivesNew employee orientation in Houston, TX providedTraining provided on business practices, processes, product assembly and product technologyOffice or cubicle space within the regional sales office for regular attendancePPE requirements include FREs, safety glasses and steel toe shoesCompany provided vehicle, phone, laptop and credit card for business expensesMinimum Qualifications:Bachelor’s degree in business, mechanical engineering, business, or related field5 years of experience in customer facing, outside sales of oil and gas chemical injection pumps3 years of experience supporting sales teamsTechnical expertise in oil and gas chemical injections pumpsWillingness to travel up to 50-75% in the specified sales territoryMust be able to meet the ChampionX vehicle and driver expectationsMust follow the ChampionX travel and expense policiesMust be able to travel by airMust be proficient in using Microsoft Office Suite which includes Word, Excel, PowerPointResults Oriented - Good follow up skills to ensure strategy implementationContract negotiation experienceAdept at managing multiple tasks/projects/customer accounts timelyProvide leadership through example and adequate directionMust be able to produce complex sales reportsMust be able to communicate with customers at all levelsMust be able to build relationship with company and customer contactsMust have a professional and positive attitude as well as a passion for continuous
