Registered Nurse (RN)
to:Join a team of REMARKABLE nurses that use compassionand teamwork to care for their inspiring patients in the Oncology Clinics.Connect and formtherapeutic relationships with patients.Care for patients receiving chemotherapy,supportive care medications for cancer and hematologic conditions, bloodtransfusions, bone marrow transplants, and CAR-T cell therapy in an outpatientsettingUse targetedassessment skills to assess patients during visits and via telephone triage andonline patient portal.Participate in ongoingoncology educational and growth opportunities.Minimum Requirements:Facility Requirement:Traveler must have permanent address outside 50 mile radius of Madison (address must be included in traveler's profile).Experience:
Oncology, chemotherapy and ambulatory triage experience preferred.Traveler must have completed two years of experience within last 3 years.If the traveler has experience in an oncology clinic they could do 2 days a week in a clinic and then the rest in triage.
Successfully completed traveler assignment (13 weeks) preferred.
Licensure and Certification:Traveler must have WI nursing license or compact license from their permanent address state.BLS must be certified through American Heart Association ONLYOCN (Oncology Certificate Nurse) or ONS (Oncology Nursing Society) or APHON (Association of Pediatric Hematology/Oncology Nurses) required.
ReferenceNeeds 2 references from recent work environment/assignments (supervisor or manager only).FloatingTravelers are the first to float. The Traveler may have shifts scheduled in multiple units, depending on the current staffing needs and/or different locations within the organization. During the travelers assignment, if the primary unit no longer has a need, shifts will be re-assigned to another unit in order to complete contract.Location:
