POSITION SUMMARY
The Chief Human Resources Officer (CHRO) is a key executive leadership role responsible for leading and driving the overall HR strategy for the organization. The CHRO plays a critical role in developing and executing human capital strategies aligned with the company's goals. This role is responsible for overseeing all aspects of HR management, including recruitment, talent development, employee relations, compensation, benefits, diversity, and compliance on
Philadelphia and Georgia Campuses (Suwanee and Moultrie). The CHRO partners with the executive team to foster a culture of performance, engagement, and inclusivity.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
The successful candidate will perform the following duties, with or without reasonable accommodations:
Strategic Leadership• Develop and implement HR strategies that align with the company's mission, vision, and strategic objectives.• Partner with the executive team to shape organizational growth, culture, and employee engagement initiatives.• Lead succession planning and workforce development to ensure the organization is prepared for future growth.
Talent Management and Development• Oversee talent acquisition strategies, ensuring the organization attracts and retains top talent.• Implement robust learning and development programs to enhance leadership capabilities and overall employee performance.• Drive performance management processes to foster a high-performance culture.
Equity, Title IX and ADA• Champion the development and execution of ADA strategies to ensure an inclusive workplace.• Measure and track diversity progress, and embed it into all people-related initiatives and practices.
Compensation and Benefits• Oversee the design, implementation, and maintenance of competitive compensation and benefits programs.• Ensure that compensation practices comply with relevant legislation and support a fair and equitable workforce.
Employee Relations• Promote strong employee engagement and develop effective communication strategies to ensure transparency and trust.• Manage conflict resolution and provide support in complex employee relations matters.
HR Operations and Compliance• Oversee the HR operations function, ensuring HR processes, systems, and policies are efficient and compliant with applicable laws and regulations.• Manage risk by ensuring compliance with labor laws, regulations, and industry standards.• Implement HR technology solutions to streamline HR functions and improve operational efficiency.• HCM platform with Workday
Organizational Development and Change Management• Lead organizational design efforts and manage changes to ensure smooth transitions during times of company growth, restructuring, or innovation.• Foster a culture of continuous improvement and innovation within the HR team and across the organization.
POSITION REQUIREMENTS
Education and Certifications• Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field; Master's degree, JD or MBA preferred.• Certification such as SPHR, SHRM-SCP, or GPHR is a plus.
Experience• 10+ years of progressive HR leadership experience, with at least 5 years in a senior or executive HR role.• Experience with a new ERP/HCM platform implementation and/or Workday experience.• Strong knowledge of labor laws, regulations, and best practices in HR.• Experience with organizational change management, talent management, and employee development.• Excellent communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills.• Ability to think strategically while managing operational execution.
