Job Description
We’re looking for a
Senior Narrative Designer
to join our team in Boston. We are searching for candidates with boundless creativity to enrich our world with quests and exciting stories about characters and the world around them. Our team is growing and we're looking for people focused on narrative-driven and emotional design, with visual scripting knowledge and a knack for directing and organizing complex projects. As a part of the Narrative Design team you will have an opportunity to design, implement and direct your own stories in our world! This role does not include writing responsibilities and is specifically focused on design and implementation. Candidates for the Narrative Design position are kindly requested to provide portfolio/examples of their projects. Daily Responsibilities Creating the storyline on a detailed level and a believable world surrounding it. Designing quests, communities and open world events. Implementing designed content via visual scripting using a proprietary toolset within UE5. Planning assets required for the creation of your content. Cooperate with other departments within an interdisciplinary team for content creation. Integrating delivered assets (like gameplay elements, locations, characters, dialogue etc.) into a seamless, engaging and unique experience. Maintaining the highest possible quality of quests, and fixing reported bugs. Attending content reviews and iterating on Designs and implementation based on provided feedback. Creating and maintaining design documentation. Qualifications
At least 5 years of experience as Quest, Narrative or Open World Designer on AAA projects. At least 1 shipped narrative-driven AAA game. Excellent understanding of interactive storytelling. In-depth knowledge of game development and game design. Proficiency with game engines and visual scripting. Proficiency with UE4 or UE5 is welcomed. Well-developed communication and organization skills. Ability to give, receive and act on feedback. Ability to thrive in multinational, interdisciplinary teams. Capability to mentor and train members of the team. Strong critical and analytical thinking. Released Books, Comic Books, Movies, or other narrative works is a plus. Additional Information
This job requires working in Boston, US. Working mode: in-office in a hybrid or full-time capacity. Company paid medical healthcare (dental vision & mental).
