ALIResponsibilitiesLeads activities necessary for quality, industry, and security certifications and compliance programs, including ISO 27001, ISO27017, SOC 2, NQA-1, VPAT, CSTAR Level 2, and FDA compliance.Leads customer audits and participates in external security audits, including evidence gathering.Conducts internal audits relating to security and compliance initiatives, including coordination and oversight activities among stakeholders, preparing audit plans, leading meetings, summarizing and reporting findings, and defining follow-up actions.Monitors progress of compliance efforts and communicates progress to management.Monitors, reviews, and approves closure of Corrective and Preventive Actions.Supports quality and security initiatives across Industry Solutions organization, such as defining new processes, implementing new systems, writing and updating SOPs, assessing new products for inclusion in security certifications, and reporting status information to management.Uses strong writing skills to create and update standard regulation-specific content for internal and external stakeholders.Accepts personal accountability for commitments and retrospect’s on opportunities for improvement and growth, both personally and for the group.Maintains ISO 9001 Lead Internal Auditor and/or ISO 27001 Lead Implementer certification.Education / QualificationsBachelor’s degree in Technical or Business area or equivalent auditor credentials.A minimum of 5 years of relevant experience.Knowledge of common certification standards for IT security, business continuity, and quality management (for example, SOC 1/SOC 2, ISO 27001, ISO 9001, FDA, NQA-1).Experience conducting internal and external audits, identifying non-conformances, giving feedback, and developing improvement plans.Ability to carry out root cause analysis and follow the improvement opportunities through to their conclusion.Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to tailor delivery to different audiences.Ability to demonstrate initiative and handle problems independently, with limited supervision.A motivation to constantly seek improvements and challenge the status quo.Must be located in one of the following hubs: Huntsville, AL; Houston, TX; Atlanta, GA.PreferredAttainment of professional certifications or willingness to pursue such is a plus.FDA or other regulatory agency experience a plus.Managing a QMS and security compliance program in a SaaS company is a plus.About HexagonHexagon is a global leader in digital reality solutions, combining sensor, software and autonomous technologies.
