RESPONSIBILITIES:Lead all project phases, including initiation, planning, execution, monitoring, control and closureDirect day-to-day activities of projects and staff in matrixed organizationEnsure milestones are successfully met through oversight of project vehicles and coordination of resourcesWork collaboratively with other departments impacting project.Lead communication with stakeholders and team members through completion of the projectDirect project timeliness and budgetsAssess, manage, resolve and escalate (if necessary) risks and issuesEmploys highly developed consultative skillsTailor processes to meet the needs of individual projectsMake decisions based on information and input in a timely mannerProvide analysis of project, including business case, ROI and post-project reviewDrive innovation, best practices and achievement of strategic objectivesWork on projects of high complexityQUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED:At least five years of project management experienceExperience managing medium to large cross-functional and/or multi-year projectsExperience with project management tools and structured methodologies.PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
Preference will be given to candidates who have the following:PMP or equivalent professional project management certificationAdvanced knowledge of functional area and related company productsAbility to effectively communicate with multiple functions/organizations to identify and negotiate required resourcesExcellent negotiation, communication, presentation and facilitation skillsAbility to manage across formal organizational linesStrong team leadership and ability to delegate responsibility to all levels of the project team and hold team accountable for deliverablesExpertise with Microsoft Office, Microsoft Project and VisioCommitment to being accountable for resultsAbility to interface with and present to all levels of the organizationProven track record of building relationships both internally and externallyStrong focus on client serviceAbility to think independently and make decisionsStrong interpersonal skillsCollaborative approach to work.
