You will collaborate directly with leaders across the company in Sales, Product, Underwriting, Claims, Actuarial, Operations/Call Center, Technology, and Vault’s executive leadership team.Why Choose Vault:37% growth rate in staff since December 2021.Our Financial Strength is rated an A- by AM Best.Rated 4.5 stars based on our customer experience reviews.Our leaders are respected innovators with decades of insurance expertise.Vault’s proprietary technology allows for enhanced capabilities, speed, and efficiency.Leading high-net-worth insurance provider with a foundation in customized solutions.Comprehensive benefits tailored to your lifestyle.Job Responsibilities:Take hands-on ownership of delivering analytical assets from early identification of business needs through design, development, and deployment of new and updated analyses, ad-hoc requests for insights & reports, data visualizations, and strategic roadmap workstreams.Ensure development, delivery, and ongoing optimization of Vault’s portfolio of analytical assets by effectively evaluating and participating in the prioritization of inbound requests.Help define and drive delivery of key components of Vault’s strategic roadmap for analytics capabilities.Collaborate across Vault data experts, stakeholders, application architects/engineers, and Data Architecture to ensure the data used by the company is optimized for analytics and insights.Effectively understand not just the ‘what’ but the ‘why’ behind our stakeholders’ needs and apply advanced analytical techniques to solve company-wide business problems.Identify appropriate use cases and apply relevant techniques for classical and Generative AI and descriptive vs. predictive analytical assets.Participate in the enterprise roll-out and scaling of Snowflake across Vault.Collaborate with stakeholders in business, IT, and compliance areas to ensure ongoing data quality and governance.Provide effective training to stakeholders of varying technical proficiency to understand and use Vault data assets.Keep current and proficient in emerging analytical technologies and techniques and apply them effectively to Vault’s analytics use cases.Bring a growth mindset to the analytics team’s operational and strategic partnerships and intra-team collaboration, including active cross-training and knowledge sharing.Preferred Qualifications:5+ years of data analytics experience.Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in a quantitative field such as statistics, analytics, actuarial science, or economics.Deep understanding of Property and Casualty data, including admitted and non-admitted products.Proficiency in modern data supply chain, technology stack, and programming languages – OLTP/OLAP, ETL, Data Lake/Data Mart, SQL, Python.Technical proficiency in cloud/data toolsets, specifically one or more of: Tableau, MS Azure, and Snowflake.Demonstrated ability to simplify complex analytical subjects and findings to non-technical stakeholders through verbal, written, and visual communication.Vault is committed to providing equal opportunities to all employees and employment applicants.
