Hope College has four academic divisions: 1) Arts, 2) Humanities, 3) Social Sciences, and 4) Natural & Applied Sciences. Divisions contain multiple academic departments. Additionally, we have a number of interdisciplinary academic programs, living-learning communities, academic outreach programs, and a leadership structure for the General Education program. The administrators, staff, and faculty in these divisions collaborate to provide an excellent, ecumenical Christian liberal arts education.
Associate Dean of Educational Outreach Hope College seeks an innovative, consultative leader for its educational outreach programs. The primary educational outreach office on campus, ExploreHope, provides hands-on learning for local students. The Associate Dean of Educational Outreach would direct the ExploreHope Summer Camps (accredited by the American Camp Association) and supervise leaders of the following programs: CASA (Children's After School Achievement), PATH (Program for the Academically Talented at Hope), and Step Up. The Associate Dean of Educational Outreach will also collaborate with the director of Hope's TRIO Upward Bound program---the longest running TRIO Upward Bound program at a private liberal arts college in the United States.
Believing all students deserve a path to achieve successful lifelong learning, Hope College's Office of Educational Outreach creates an impactful community of learning for West Michigan that empowers and informs families and their students to reach college potential. Job Description
Provide innovative, collaborative leadership for ExploreHope summer camps and Office of Educational Outreach programs.
Advocate for programs in the Office of Educational Outreach.
Supervise and mentor leaders of the CASA, PATH, and Step Up programs.
Supervise Hope College student volunteer mentoring.
Collaborate with the Office of Sponsored Research and Programs to acquire grant-funding
