The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering all project objectives for assigned projects including scope, schedule and budget.Essential Functions and ResponsibilitiesMonitors schedules, budgets, accounts receivable and manpower requirements and prepares invoices.Develop Project Management plans for assigned projectsEstablish project pricing and budgetsCreate and maintain project schedulesDevelop and maintain project specific quality plansDevelop and coordinate project scopeManage subconsultantsParticipate in client presentationsOversee and manage assigned staff working on projectManage all technical resources on the project teamDevelopment of extra work order requests and open-end contract task proposalsCoordinate and assist Section Heads, Office Managers, and Practice Leaders with marketing proposals
Nonessential Functions and ResponsibilitiesPerform other related duties as assigned
Required Skills
Proficient in Microsoft OfficeSkilled with Bentley MicroStation and associated design softwareFamiliar with Open Roads Designer Software
Required Experience
Bachelor's degree from an ABET accredited engineering programProfessional Engineer License10+ years' experience in developing roadway/highway plans
Preferred ExperienceCAPM or PMPExperience working with local clients at the county and state levelProject management and business development experienceExperience with multiple project delivery methods i.e. Design-Bid-Build, Design-Build, P3Experience managing multidiscipline project teams
Working ConditionsWork is performed within a general office environment 95% of the time. Work is generally sedentary in nature, but may require occasional standing and walking. Lighting and temperature are adequate and there are no hazardous or unpleasant conditions caused by noise, dust, etc. within the office environment.Field work is required on occasion where work may be conducted outside in heat/cold, wet/humid, and dry/arid conditions.
