Job Title: Fabricator
Job Description
As a Fabricator, you will perform duties and responsibilities with an emphasis on safety. You will operate various sheet metal machines such as brakes, lasers, deburring machines, shears, notches, and turret punching machines. You will receive work orders and prints, and use shop calculations/math when necessary, working from complex drawings, prints, templates, and specifications. You will cut and form pieces to required dimensions using a variety of machines, hand tools, and measuring instruments. You will perform highly diversified work involving close tolerances with a basic understanding of blank sizes and bend allowances, using precision measuring instruments to check for accuracy. You will monitor machines at all times for proper operation, work with close supervision in coordination with other team members and other departments in the company, and keep your work area clean and orderly. Other duties as assigned.
Responsibilities
Perform all duties and responsibilities with an emphasis on safety.
Operate various sheet metal machines such as brakes, lasers, deburring machines, shears, notches, and turret punching machines.
Receive work orders and prints, and use shop calculations/math when necessary.

Essential Skills
Experience with press brake, machine operation, punch press, and sheet metal.
Ability to fabricate sheet metal parts using machines such as brakes, lasers, deburring machines, shears, notches, and turret punching machines.
Skill in performing operations including set-up and machine operation.
Knowledge of shop mathematics.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds repeatedly during the shift.
Requires a high degree of attention, mental alertness, and care to prevent injury to self and others when operating machines.
