Litigation Attorney

A law firm seeks an experienced Litigation Attorney to join its civil litigation team in Pasadena, CA. This hybrid role offers the opportunity to work on a wide range of legal matters, including employment, insurance, public entity, personal injury, and general litigation. The firm provides a collaborative work environment and a competitive benefits package, including hybrid work options.Duties:Represent clients in civil litigation matters, including employment law, insurance disputes, public entity cases, personal injury, and general litigation.Conduct legal research, draft pleadings, motions, and briefs, and manage case files.Handle discovery, including taking and defending depositions, interrogatories, and document production.Advocate on behalf of clients in court, including trial and appellate proceedings.Collaborate with other attorneys and legal staff to develop case strategies and meet client objectives.Requirements:Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an ABA-accredited law school.Admission to the California Bar.Experience in civil litigation with a strong understanding of relevant legal principles in the practice areas mentioned.Education:Juris Doctor (J.D.) from a recognized law school.Certifications:Active membership with the California State Bar.Skills:Strong legal research, writing, and courtroom advocacy skills.Excellent communication and negotiation skills for dealing with clients and opposing counsel.Ability to manage multiple litigation cases and deadlines simultaneously.Strong collaborative skills to work effectively with a team.Competitive salary commensurate with experience.Comprehensive benefits package, including medical, dental, and vision insurance.401(k) retirement plan with employer contributions.Hybrid work model offering both in-office and remote work flexibility.This position offers a dynamic opportunity to work on diverse civil litigation matters in a supportive and flexible work environment.
