Responsibilities• Provides skilled speech therapy treatment plans in accordance with physician orders and by assessing and interpreting evaluations and test results of patients.• Adheres to state requirements for supervision of SLPAs and Clinical Fellows to provide services with the highest care standards• Assures continuation of therapeutic plan following discharge by designing home exercise programs; instructing patients, recommending and/or providing assistive equipment/ follow up programs.• Promptly and thoroughly documents and maintains clinical and administrative records regarding patient limitations/interventions, treatments, responses and progress to administered therapy as well as discharge summaries.• Maintains patient records confidentially.• Records treatment charges daily and completes documentation in accurate and timely manner.• Complies with the applicable State Speech Therapy Practice Act, codes and regulations

Qualifications• Graduate from an ASHA accredited Speech Therapy program• Current State Speech Therapist license• Certificate of Clinical Competence from ASHA• Current CPR certification• Efficient problem-solving skills• Exceptional communication skills and time management skills• Must keep best interest of the client and family at the forefront of all activities• Collaborative nature• Allegiance to the mission, values, and vision of the organization
