Description of the role:

The IT Level 1 Support position at Starling Chevrolet in Orlando, Florida involves providing technical assistance and support to ensure the efficient operation of the company's IT systems. The role requires excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to communicate effectively with end-users.

Responsibilities:

Provide technical assistance and support for incoming queries and issues related to computer systems, software, and hardware

Respond to support tickets and resolve issues in a timely manner

Troubleshoot and diagnose problems, escalating complex issues to senior IT staff when necessary

Install, configure, and maintain computer systems and software

Assist in the setup and maintenance of network and telecom equipment

Assist in the creation and maintenance of IT documentation

Ensure security and privacy of systems, networks, and data

Provide basic training and guidance to end-users on IT systems and software

Requirements:

High school diploma or equivalent

1 - 2 years experience in a customer support or IT support role

Strong technical knowledge of computer systems, software, and hardware

Excellent problem-solving and communication skills

Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Attention to detail and ability to prioritize tasks
