Job Summary

California Miramar University is seeking a dynamic Marketing Manager to lead our marketing efforts, driving student enrollment and engagement through innovative, multi-channel marketing campaigns. This role requires a highly skilled professional with experience in higher education marketing and a strong foundation in social media and digital marketing strategies.

Key Responsibilities:

Campaign Strategy and Execution:

Design, execute, and optimize multi-channel marketing campaigns (digital, print, social, email) to attract prospective students and drive enrollment.

Lead Generation:

Manage lead acquisition, nurturing, and qualification processes, ensuring high-quality leads are generated and routed to Admissions in a timely manner.

Content Development:

Oversee the creation of marketing materials, including program brochures, website content, and digital ads, ensuring consistent brand messaging and compliance with regulatory standards.

Data Analysis and Reporting:

Track and analyze key performance metrics, campaign ROI, and conversion rates; provide insights and recommendations for optimizing strategies.

Vendor & Agency Management:

Collaborate with third-party vendors and agencies, overseeing project timelines, budgets, and deliverables to maximize results.

Market Research:

Conduct competitor analysis and research to understand industry trends, student needs, and preferences; use insights to refine marketing approaches.

Cross-Functional Collaboration:

Partner with Admissions and Student Services to align marketing messaging, enhance student experience, and ensure a seamless transition from lead to enrolled student.

Oversee domestic and international marketing efforts:

Adapt strategies to cater to diverse student demographics.

Educational Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, or related field required (Master’s degree preferred).

Experience Requirements:

3-5 years of marketing experience, preferably in higher education or a related industry.

Experience with higher education that enrolls domestic and international students is preferred.

Relevant experience in Higher Education Marketing, EdTech, Digital Marketing Agencies, Consumer Services, or Healthcare and Wellness marketing.

Technical Skills:

Proficient in Marketing Automation Platforms (HubSpot, Marketo, Pardot)

Experienced with CRM Systems (Salesforce, Slate)

Skilled in Data Analytics and Reporting Tools (Google Analytics, Tableau, Excel)

Knowledgeable in Digital Advertising Platforms (Google Ads, Facebook/Meta Ads)

Familiar with SEO Tools (Ahrefs, SEMrush, Moz)

Capable with CMS (WordPress, Drupal)

Competent in Social Media Management Tools (Hootsuite, Sprout Social)

Optional: Graphic Design and Multimedia Skills (Adobe Creative Suite, Canva)

Proficient in Conversion Rate Optimization Tools (Optimizely, Google Optimize)
