You will play a crucial role in designing and implementing a comprehensive development program aimed at securing substantial contributions from individuals and family foundations. Your responsibilities will include managing a development team, establishing and meeting fundraising goals, and ensuring thorough stewardship of major donors. Moreover, you will participate in the early planning phases of an upcoming comprehensive campaign and will represent the organization at various events to connect with potential supporters.QualificationsThe ideal candidate will possess at least 7 years of experience in nonprofit fundraising, and a proven history of successfully closing six-figure gifts. Strong management and administrative skills are essential, along with the ability to collaborate effectively with a diverse range of stakeholders. We seek a self-starter with excellent interpersonal and communication skills, capable of working both independently and as part of a team. Experience in an academic medical institution or hospital environment is preferred, and a graduate degree or CFRE certification is a plus.
