Chicagoland Pool Management is a full service pool management company, offering our customers the flexibility to choose between staffing services, mechanical and maintenance services, and repair and renovation services. We provide services to both the private and public sectors. We are currently growing our team and looking for the perfect fit to oversee our public Park District and Municipality Facilities.
JOB SUMMARY:
The Aquatics Facilities Director needs to be a multifaceted individual with the ability to work well with others and have strong time management skills. The duties of an Aquatic Facilities Director include daily operation of their assigned multi-guarded commercial swimming pools, including operations and staff. They will also be involved with customer relations, opening of all the pools, seasonal operations, and closing of all swimming facilities. Some of their responsibilities may include:
Swimming Facility Supervision – During the summer, the Aquatic Facilities Director will directly oversee any staff at their assigned aquatic facilities, including but not limited to facility safety, overall swimming pool operations, and overall facility operations.Facilitate Company Trainings – This role will be heavily involved in all training and onboarding aspects of all employees, including but not limited to American Red Cross Lifeguard Training, Pre-Season Company trainings, In-Service Training, and Company safety modules.Customer Service – One of the most important aspects of the Aquatic Facilities Director's duties is the direct contact with the pool management company’s customers, which includes working with patrons at the pool as well as working with the point of contact from the customer.Hiring and Recruiting – Assisting our staffing and safety department in their roles of hiring, onboarding, and training all company employees and working closely on hiring for the facilities in which the Aquatic Facilities Director directly oversees.Programming and Events – Assist in overseeing swim lessons, swim team, and any other programming or special events that take place at the facilities in which you directly oversee.Marketing and Sales – As a key person within the company, the Aquatic Facilities Director role is vital in the sales and marketing of the commercial swimming pool management company.QUALIFICATIONS:
Must have or be willing to obtain current American Red Cross Lifeguard Certification, Lifeguard Instructor Certification, and PHTA Certified Pool Operator Certification.Ideal candidate will have extensive part-time or full-time aquatic experience at a Park District and/or other municipality facility.Must have a current valid Driver’s License.Must be able to lift 50+ pounds.Must be able to spend long periods of time outdoors.Must be able to work long days and have a flexible work schedule.BENEFITS:
