Our four divisions, Social Justice Services, Community Strategies, Behavioral Health, and the Crime and Justice Institute are recognized for their effectiveness and contributions to this important work.CRJ offers competitive pay and excellent benefits which include:Flexible Scheduling401k with company matchPaid Time Off (Vacation/Sick)Referral Bonus ProgramsEmployee perks, and much more!About This PositionCRJ wants you to join our growing team of compassionate and dependable DV Program Coordinators to support the wonderful individuals we serve!This is a full-time, 40-hrs/week, exempt, benefit-eligible position that will be working in our Hartford, CT location.This is a fantastic opportunity to receive valuable training to not only start your career, but also to advance it.CRJ offers opportunities for tremendous career advancement and professional development.Duties & Responsibilities:Coordinates client participation, group facilitators compliance and resolution of challenges as well as reporting to referral sources and JB-CSSD.Effective coordination of Hartford DV Evolve program from referrals to discharges.Responsible for overseeing and monitoring CDCS data audits for your location.Responsible for providing client information to JB-CSSD as requested.Sends communications to courts, probation and clients.Tracks client attendance (collects referrals, enters CDCS data, sends out client letters, coordinates group placement, sends discharge paperwork to referral sources, communicates any absences or start issues to referral source and fields questions.)Collects program client surveys and completes monthly billing for contracts.Manages all timely invoicing.Responsible for incoming calls and maintaining clinical files.Completes weekly data entry, sends out client letters and makes reminder calls of group start dates.Maintains good rapport with referral sources: (Family services, state attorneys, etc.), program staff and program clients.Provides client status reports to court. Collects client referrals and fees.Oversees the coordination of intake phone calls and wait lists.Communicates client attendance at intakes to the referral source. Ensures that all referrals are followed up on and monitored until the client begins programming.Ensures that all referrals and class assignments are completed, in a timely fashion, inputted into CDCS and that clients have been screened properly before starting group.Facilitates groups as assigned. Secures coverage when needed for groups and will fill in as a facilitator (with qualifying credentials,) in the face of unexpected absences of staff.Will conduct intakes when faced with a heavy flow of referrals. All other duties as assigned by the Co-Director of DV Interventions.Job Qualifications:Knowledge of the CT criminal justice systemKnowledge of area programs and resources and working relationships with area providers are all desirableBilingual (English/Spanish) is a plus.About UsCommunity Strategies (CS)

supports adults with developmental or intellectual disabilities through specialized services that include Day Programs, Shared Living arrangements with providers, as well as over forty community-based group homes.

Social Justice Services (SJS) , supports those leaving incarceration to make positive, sustainable life transitions through residential and non-residential programs.

Behavioral Health (BH)

has worked to break cycles of violence, crime, and incarceration by providing client-centered interventions and support services to empower and strengthen individuals, families, and communities. BH provides domestic violence treatment and education, community reentry services, mentoring programs, and intensive outpatient programs.

The Crime and Justice Institute (CJI)

is a non-profit organization working at the local, state, and national level to improve public safety and the delivery of justice. CJI provides technical assistance, research, and other services to improve outcomes in policing, the corrections system, pre-trial, re-entry, community supervision, and juvenile justice.
