Job SummaryThe primary purpose of this role is to translate business requirements and functional specifications into logical program designs and to deliver code modules, stable application systems, and software solutions. This includes developing, configuring, or modifying integrated business and/or enterprise application solutions within various computing environments. Key ResponsibilitiesAs a Software engineer, you will contribute to all phases of the product lifecycle and write efficient code that conforms to architectural standards. Develop unit, integration, and regression test cases for the product. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to troubleshoot issues and bug fixes. Enhance the product and automated tests to prevent re-occurrence of defects. Document processes and knowledge specific to the assigned product.Building UI using modern front-end technologies such as React JS, Node JS, and Redux Toolkits.Ability to test your application using state-of-the-art tech like MSWjs, Cypress, Jest, and many more open source-based tech stacks.Leveraging micro-frontend principles to build robust UI experiences for internal and external end-users.Building microservices using modern, cloud-native technologies such as Java 8, Kotlin, Spring Boot, Reactor, Kafka.Building on a platform which is authored on open source platform of Kubernetes and comes with inbuilt metrics tracking capability powered by Prometheus, Grafana, and log mining by ELK stack.Ideate, build, and publish reusable libraries to improve productivity across teams.Utilizing DevOps, CI/CD and build tools such as Jenkins, Git, Gradle, Spinnaker, JFrog, etc.Working with testing frameworks such as JUnit, Mockito, Cucumber, etc.Using cloud platforms such as GCP/AWS.Required QualificationsBachelor's Degree in Computer Science, CIS, or related field (or equivalent work experience in a related field).2 years of experience in software development or a related field.2 years of experience in database technologies.1 year of experience working on project(s) involving the implementation of solutions applying development life cycles (SDLC).
Preferred QualificationsMaster's Degree in Computer Science, CIS, or related field.2 years of IT experience developing and implementing business systems within an organization.4 years of experience working with defect or incident tracking software.4 years of experience with technical documentation in a software development environment.2 years of experience working with an IT Infrastructure Library (ITIL) framework.2 years of experience leading teams, with or without direct reports.Experience with application and integration middleware.Experience with database technologies.About Lowe’sLowe’s Companies, Inc.
