This includes developing, configuring, or modifying complex integrated business and/or enterprise application solutions within various computing environments. This role facilitates the implementation and maintenance of complex business and enterprise software solutions to ensure successful deployment of released applications.What can you impact?We are looking for software engineers that can help us drive transformation in our key area of Enterprise Cost Management. You will be part of an engineering team that is driven by product thinking and focused on delivering key outcomes.Key ResponsibilitiesDesigning, developing, and refactoring a product based on customer requirements.Supporting and mentoring a small group of software engineers.Collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver scalable and maintainable solutions.Developing reusable components that can be shared across domains.Participating in end-to-end product lifecycle phases.Automating, optimizing, and simplifying team development, test, and post-production support processes.Building micro frontends using modern front-end technologies such as React JS and Node JS.Experience with testing frameworks such as React Hooks, React Testing Library, Jest, etc.Testing applications using state-of-the-art tech like MSWjs, Cypress, Jest, and more.Building with high-throughput, low-latency scalable technologies like Apache Kafka, Reactor, and No-SQL databases such as Couchbase and MongoDB.Authoring deployment pipelines on cloud, on-premise, and in-stores.Building on a platform authored on open source platform of Kubernetes with metrics tracking capability powered by Prometheus, Grafana, and ELK stack.Ideating, building, and publishing reusable libraries to improve productivity across teams.Using reusable design patterns related to UI frameworks in JavaScript.Sharing expertise around computing, threading models, caching, and database indexing.Working with security vulnerabilities within code/infrastructure.Building, testing, and deploying microservices using DevOps, CI/CD, and build tools such as Jenkins, Git, Gradle, Spinnaker, JFrog, etc.Communicating and coordinating with project teams, partners, and stakeholders.Analyzing and troubleshooting system performance and functional defects.Working with system resiliency like chaos engineering and disaster recovery.Staying current with new and evolving technologies via formal training and self-directed education.Required QualificationsBachelor's Degree in Computer Science, CIS, or related field (or equivalent work experience).5 years of experience in software development or a related field.4 years of experience in database technologies.4 years of experience working on projects involving the implementation of solutions applying development life cycles (SDLC).Preferred QualificationsMaster's Degree in Computer Science, CIS, or related field.5 years of IT experience developing and implementing business systems within an organization.5 years of experience working with defect or incident tracking software.5 years of experience writing technical documentation in a software development environment.3 years of experience working with an IT Infrastructure Library (ITIL) framework.3 years of experience leading teams, with or without direct reports.5 years of experience working with source code control systems.Experience working with Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment tools.5 years of experience in systems analysis, including defining technical requirements and performing high-level design for complex solutions.About Lowe’sLowe’s Companies, Inc.
