CNC Programmer ! The ideal candidate will be responsible for reading and interpreting prints and solid models, generating CNC code, and managing tooling to ensure efficient production processes. If you have a passion for precision machining and a knack for problem-solving, we want to hear from you.

Temp-to-hireWhy Work Here?Health Care Plan (Medical, Dental and Vision)401k with company matchLife Insurance (Basic, Voluntary and AD&D)Paid Time OffShort Term and Long-Term DisabilityREQUIREMENTS5-10 years of sheet metal experience required.Preferably 3 years of experience operating a turret punch press.2-5 years of experience in CNC programming or related CAD/CAM software preferred.High school diploma or equivalent required.Engineering degree is a plus.Proficiency in Solid Works is required.Experience with Solid Works PDM is preferred.Knowledge of punch and break tooling.Ability to read and interpret technical drawings.Familiarity with geometric dimensioning and tolerancing.Strong mathematical skills including shop math, geometry, and trigonometry.Excellent problem-solving abilities.Familiarity with quality standards (ISO9001).Effective verbal and written communication skills.Ability to troubleshoot machining issues and provide solutions.JOB DUTIESRead and interpret blueprints and solid models.Utilize CAD/CAM packages to generate CNC code for punches and breaks from solid models.Implement process improvements to reduce setup and punching/bending times.Manage, maintain, and deploy tooling during program development.Generate setup sheets and ensure accurate documentation.Provide feedback and input into process improvement initiatives within the department.Write programs for new products while adhering to quality policies, specifications, and regulations.Ensure timely completion of input and output department files.Recommend improvements to reduce production costs while maintaining quality standards.Program, organize, log, update, and maintain new and existing part files to the latest revision level.
