Craft Your Career with BrassCraft Manufacturing Company!POSITION SUMMARY:The IT Operations Specialist is responsible for the daily activities of maintaining IT operations within their location. They will be responsible for the execution of projects and incident resolution utilizing standard company procedures and best practices.PRINCIPAL FUNCTIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES:Network/desktop support across the facility.Maintain and grow our culture of providing strong service and support.Responsible for site setup, user training, desktop maintenance and setup, server administration, moves, monitoring, troubleshooting hardware/software issues, installations, maintenance/support and documentation.Execute support requests and make recommendations for changes in process, training, software, etc. to improve delivery to the facility.Work closely with internal and external support teams to create workflows that enhance and streamline the customer support experience and establishing best practices.Ensures all issues are appropriately resolved, and appropriate corrective actions and/or escalations are in place to facilitate resolution. Escalates issues to IT Management team as needed to ensure timely customer satisfaction.Maintains and reviews documentation and checklists to ensure high quality of service thus maximizing efficiency and effectiveness.Stay up to date and current IT practices relevant to job responsibilities.Assists with IT planning as necessary.Expected to work closely across all IT disciplines and with all locations for problem resolution.Required to respond to after-hours/emergency support request as needed.Support and coordinate with IT vendors, as needed.MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:Associate Degree Information Systems; or related work experience.Active Directory administration and hardware imaging processes.Strong technical background in Desktop OS’s, Networking and Virtual Environments.Knowledge of networking protocols including:

VPNRoutingTCP/IPFirewallsVoIPNetwork Analysis tools

Proven work experience in IT Desktop setup/management, Server management, networking, etc.Working knowledge of Microsoft Azure and Intune.Preferred ExperienceBachelor’s Degree in information systems.Understanding of ITIL and ITSM best practices beneficial.Minimum 5 years as a PC Technician II or III role in a Manufacturing environment.COMPETENCIES:Proven analytical and problem-solving abilities.Customer-service orientation; the ability to respond quickly and effectively to user needs.Ability to effectively prioritize and execute tasks in a high-pressure environment.Solid interpersonal skills, with a focus on rapport-building, listening, and questioning skills.Experience working both independently as well as in a team-oriented, collaborative environment.Able to interpret problems and present clear, actionable solutions to people across a range of departments.Experience with ServiceNow or similar IT ticketing system.Proficient in hardware and software lifecycle practices.Experience with industrial label printing including zebra printers, drivers and interoperability with Windows 10.Supporting industrial equipment/IT interfaces including working with machine and control engineers to ensure security and operability.Must be physically able to move about the office building, lift, bend and stretch for installation or maintenance of computer, server and networking equipment.ABOUT USBrassCraft Manufacturing Company is a leading manufacturer and distributor of high-quality water and gas flow control products, plumbing service and repair parts, and drain cleaning and plumbing hand tools for the new construction and repair/remodel markets. Full time Hiring Range: $55,500.00 - $87,120.00 Actual compensation may vary based on various factors including experience, education, geographic location, and/or skills.
