Our work environment fosters diversity, engagement, and productivity because we know that great ideas can come from anyone, at any time.The Director, Investor Relations is responsible for shaping our company’s narrative, managing relationships with investors and analysts, and ensuring effective communication of our financial performance and strategic initiatives. They contribute to the development of strategy and operating plans in partnership with the Chief Executive Officer, the Chief Financial Officer, the Corporate Treasurer and other leaders as appropriate.You will serve as the primary liaison between FactSet and the investment community, including institutional investors, analysts and shareholders. You will act as a thought partner to the leadership team to effectively position the company with investors and priority stakeholders to enhance the company’s reputation and mitigate various risks. In addition, this executive will:Develop and execute a comprehensive investor relations strategy aligned with Factset’s goals and objectivesCoordinate and lead quarterly earnings calls, investor presentations and financial analyst briefingsPrepare and review financial reports, press releases and other investor-related communicationsAnalyze market trends, competitor activities and investor sentiment to provide strategic insights to senior managementCollaborate closely with the Executive Leadership Team, Finance, Legal, Marketing and Internal Communications departments to ensure consistent messagingOrganize and facilitate investor meetings, conferences and roadshowsMonitor and report on stock performance, trading activities and shareholder compositionEnsure compliance with SEC regulations and other relevant financial requirementsDevelop and maintain strong relationships of trust and respect with analysts and investors and respond to external requests for financial and strategic information in an accurate, appropriate, and timely mannerCollaborate on company decisions that will impact value for shareholders and/or affect the company’s reputation.Lead IR staff selection, training and development, goals, performance, and compensation. Provide effective leadership for the investor relations team, including management and mentoring to assist employees to grow and develop in their careers.Position Requirements:Bachelors' degree in Finance, Business, Accounting or a related field; MBA is a plus12+ years of experience in investor relations or finance positions with prior experience in the financial services or technology sectorOutstanding financial and investment analysis skills, oral and written communication skills, and presentation ability, with the ability to articulate complex financial information to diverse audiencesBroad understanding of the investment landscape, as well as the strategic ability to create a compelling investment narrative for the companyProven track record of building and maintaining relationships with institutional investors and financial analystsStrong understanding of financial data analysis and visualization techniquesAdvanced proficiency in financial modelling, valuation techniques and data analyticsAbility to work under pressure and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environmentEnergetic self-starter that possesses excellent interpersonal skills, integrity, and a strong work ethicEfficient and resourceful team player and individual contributorAbility to work a hybrid schedule from an office in NYC or Norwalk, CTThe ideal candidate will be a strategic thinker with a deep understanding of the financial data and analytics industry.
