has opportunities for a
Full Time Outpatient Pediatric
Speech-Language Pathologist
to join an environment of advanced clinical care and to participate in program development.
Our
Speech Pathology
program includes the following services in acute care, and outpatient clinic settings:
Adult, infant and toddler feeding assessments, pediatric and adult modified barium swallow studies and fiberoptic endoscopic evaluation of swallowing, videostroboscopy and voice treatment, assessment of trach and ventilator dependent patients, speech rehabilitation for head and neck cancer patients, and speech, language and cognitive-linguistic assessments.
Additional opportunities include teaching of medical students, residents, and supervision of clinical fellows.
Minimum Qualifications:
Master's degree in related field, Certification or eligible for Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology from the American Speech-Language and Hearing Association, and Licensure or eligible for Speech Pathology License from the Texas State Board of Examiners for Speech-Language Pathology and Audiology.

To provide professional skills in the comprehensive evaluation of patients with speech and language impairments, and to provide habilitative and rehabilitative treatment services.
Job Duties:Our Speech Pathology program includes the following services in acute care, and outpatient clinic settings:
Adult, infant and toddler feeding assessments, pediatric and adult modified barium swallow studies and fiberoptic endoscopic evaluation of swallowing, videostroboscopy and voice treatment, assessment of trach and ventilator dependent patients, speech rehabilitation for head and neck cancer patients, and speech, language and cognitive-linguistic assessments.
Additional opportunities include teaching of medical students, residents, and supervision of clinical fellows.
Preferred Qualifications:Prior experience in Voice and Classically trained vocal expert for voice evaluation and treatment, prefer experience in dysphagia assessment and treatment but not necessary.
Prior experience in pediatric evaluation and treatment, prefer experience with Pedi feeding/MBS but not necessary.
Salary Range:Commensurate with experience.
