Join our dynamic team as a vital link between our Company and the investment community! Under the inspiring leadership of the Senior Vice President, Head of Investor Relations & Treasury, you will play an important strategic and financial role in supporting the company’s engagement with key external stakeholders and work collaboratively across the company to ensure the department is shaping how our story is told. In this exciting role, you'll develop market intelligence, work collaboratively with the company’s finance and strategy groups, and help craft compelling external communications for the investment community. Participate in quarterly financial results announcements, including preparation of quarterly financial press releases, conference call scripts, and key messaging materials.
Serve as key resource and secondary IR contact for engaging with investors and analysts, ensuring accurate, consistent and timely responses to external inquiries.
Responsible for monitoring sell-side analyst models.
Works closely with FP&A and commercial finance leaders to analyze and understand business expectations to support the SVP in establishing and maintaining the company’s public financial guidance.
Responsible for maintaining Q&A documents and supporting diligence inquiries from other financial stakeholders, including rating agencies and company lenders.
Responsible for monitoring market trends and competitor activities to provide insights and recommendations to senior management regarding investor sentiment and market positioning.
Works closely with senior management for the purpose of providing market intelligence, assisting in the preparation of talking points.
Responsible for organizing other company news releases related to activities such as organizational changes, Board of Director decisions, and other Company activities.
Acts as primary liaison with the New York Stock Exchange related to operational activities.
Works in conjunction with Company subsidiaries and the internal and outside legal counsel, finance, audit firms, and other departments to verify that all information that should be made public is communicated via the appropriate distribution.
Responsible for overseeing the development and production of the Annual Report to shareholders.
Performs related duties as assigned.
Requirements:
Requires broad training in fields such as finance, accountancy, communications, and/or journalism generally obtained through completion of a four-year bachelor’s degree program. Normally requires a minimum of five (5) years progressively responsible experience.
Thorough knowledge and understanding of the requirements of the news media and investment community.
Excellent presentation skills.
Ability to communicate effectively both orally and in writing.
Demonstrated ability to deal with the press skillfully and tactfully, investors, shareholder community as well as all levels of management.
Ability to interpret various financial information to prepare external communications.
Strong interpersonal skills.
Strong organizational skills; attention to detail.
Knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
