General Summary
Designs, develops, and analyzes complicated and difficult software programs for computer based systems.
* Principal Duties and Responsibilities ( Essential functions)
Develops and applies advanced methods, theories, and research techniques in the investigation and solution of complex and advanced software applications and problems.
Designs, develops, and tests cyber and cryptographic applications and database integration for assigned software development projects, specifically encryption and RBAC technologies.*
Conducts investigations and tests of considerable complexity.
Reviews literature, patents, and current practices relevant to the solution of assigned projects.
Reviews the completion and implementation of technical products.
May evaluate vendor capabilities to provide required products or services.
May provide technical consultation to other organizations.

Required Skills
Required Experience
Bachelors’ degree in computer science, information systems, engineering, or other related field or equivalent experience
Minimum of 5-8 years related experience
US Citizenship required: ability to obtain/maintain Secret security clearance; may require Top Secret clearance
Knowledge and experience in Python development
Knowledge of cryptographic modules and zero-trust architecture
Ability to develop and integrate cryptographic tools into new and existing virtualized and physical architectures
Ability to clearly present and communicate technical approaches and solutions
Preferred Qualifications
Active Secret or Top Secret clearance
