This role is categorized as hybrid. This means the successful candidate is expected to report to Mountain View, CA three times per week, at minimum.As a Sr. Manager in the Vehicle Applications & Services Team, you will be responsible for executing the plan for design, development and testing of the automotive infotainment application software using C++ and the Altia framework. Your primary responsibility involves managing both our local teams in Detroit as well as our overseas partners in India (over 600+ engineers with a 50M+ spend). You will ultimately work cross-functionally with design, product, systems, and program teams to ensure all pieces come together and release quality software products on time.In this people leader role, you will help develop and lead strategic action plans to support business goals. Embrace agile software development practices that will enable you to grow your team's capability for the future with a focus on speed, quality, safety, and a reduction in spend over time.Major Duties/ResponsibilitiesDefine a culture, product vision, and set a roadmap for your team despite there already being one.Work with a massively large and important partner in India to achieve goals on time.Come up with a plan that helps reduce our investment in India, maintain our relationship with them successfully, and invest in other technologies across the company.Build a relationship with Google as one of our senior most internal leads closest to their HQ.Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in computer engineering or computer science or equivalent experience.10+ years of experience leading engineering teams that develop user-interface software using C++.3+ years of engineering experience with Altia or Qt application development.Preferred

Leadership experience developing and testing automotive infotainment applications for radios and instrument panel clusters.Experience working with Automotive Embedded Systems and deploying applications to embedded target systems.Leadership experience with ASIL A-D safety compliance.High level of understanding of Vehicle Development Process a plus.Experience leading global teams.Compensation

The expected base compensation for this role is: $225,000- $344,800. Actual base compensation within the identified range will vary based on factors relevant to the position.Bonus Potential:
