Description:This Network Administrator will work closely with the Manager of IT Systems. The role will be responsible for the setup, configuration, and project management of the core Cisco network environment. This position will require an individual to work closely with management and external vendors. The individual must be able to communicate complex technical topics in summary form to various levels of management and vendors. This individual will also be critical to technical troubleshooting efforts, development of optimal network solutions, and resolving issues in a timely manner. Position requires frequent travel to school district or LIU offices, classrooms, PDE, and other intermediate units.
Qualifications:
Management experience, preferredDegree/Certifications in related discipline, preferredProven experience in a network administrator roleHands on experience in networking, routing and switchingExcellent knowledge of best practices around management, control, and monitoring of network infrastructureExperience with firewalls, remote access, troubleshooting, and problem resolutionExperience with providing training to adults, preferredDemonstrated leadership ability with professional and paraprofessional staffDemonstrated ability in communications, including spoken and written EnglishTerms:Full-time, 260 days (12 months)
Salary:Act 93 position, salary to be determined, plus excellent benefits
