A prominent law firm based in Seattle, WA, is seeking a talented Civil Litigation Associate Attorney with experience in federal civil rights litigation, specifically Section 1983 claims. This position focuses on representing clients in complex cases, including serious personal injury and wrongful death lawsuits, primarily for Indigenous plaintiffs. The ideal candidate should demonstrate a commitment to civil rights advocacy, a strong work ethic, and an ability to handle civil litigation with minimal oversight.Duties:Represent clients in federal Section 1983 civil rights lawsuits, primarily in Washington federal district courts.Prepare and draft legal documents, including pleadings, motions, and briefs.Conduct legal research and provide analysis on various complex legal matters.Handle all aspects of civil litigation, from case investigation through trial or settlement.Advocate for clients in court hearings and trial proceedings.Collaborate with other attorneys and legal staff on case strategy and client communications.Maintain a high level of professionalism and ethical conduct.Requirements:A valid Bar license in the state of Washington.A minimum of 3 years of experience in civil litigation, with federal court experience preferred.Proven experience in legal writing, drafting motions, and adhering to civil procedural rules.Experience with Section 1983 claims is a strong advantage but not mandatory.Education:Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.Certifications:Must be licensed to practice law in Washington State.Skills:Exceptional legal research and writing abilities.Strong oral advocacy and courtroom skills.Ability to work independently and manage a full caseload.Analytical and critical thinking with attention to detail.Dedication to representing civil rights cases, particularly those involving Indigenous plaintiffs.Ability to collaborate effectively with colleagues and clients.Job Location:Seattle, WA (hybrid remote working options available).Comprehensive health insurance, including medical, dental, and vision coverage.Paid time off (PTO) and vacation days.Opportunities for professional development and continuing legal education.A supportive and dynamic work environment with a commitment to public interest law.**THE ROLE**This is a key End to End Experience leadership role for the Administrative Technologies vertical (within IS) at PSJH and will be primarily focused on building and enabling impactful end to end experiences for Philanth...
