Chief Data & Analytics Officer
to join our Chief Information Office (CIO) Services located in Reston, VA. As a strategic leader of the CIO team, you will play a valuable part in executing a wide range of projects and programs, such as operationalizing our strategy and leading teams that deploy and manage enterprise data capabilities, including our analytics and observability platforms, and collaborating extensively with our AI teams and embedded data owners throughout Leidos. The OCIO team develops, deploys, and manages innovative digital capabilities leveraging industry-leading partnerships and cost-effective deployment and management models. The OCIO is seeking leaders to drive efficient capability delivery and management, more opportunities for innovation, and facilitate data-driven decisions across the enterprise.Core Responsibilities include:Codify, implement, champion, and continuously evolve the Leidos enterprise data strategy.Identify and pursue innovative and comprehensive data strategies that complement Leidos’ AI strategies and meet Sector/business area needs.Create data work products that reduce the need for new technology projects; develop and champion data aggregation, optimization, correlation, analysis, and visualization opportunities.Cultivate enduring and effective relationships with Office of Technology (OOT), Sector/Business Areas, and OCIO peers to develop, analyze, and optimize Leidos’ data and analytics services and products.Partner with customers, industry leaders, and internal teams to secure beneficial partnerships and opportunities to explore and advance solutions.Required Qualifications:Bachelor's degree combined with at least 22 years of experience and excellent technical credentials in fields relevant to the Leidos business (e.g., digital modernization, cybersecurity, mission software systems, integrated systems, mission operations, and artificial intelligence/machine learning). Advanced degree preferred.10+ years of success in developing and promoting innovative technical solutions in response to, and in advance of, customer requirements.10+ years of success in developing and operationalizing a technology strategy that produces differentiation, including developing and driving technology investment portfolios and building strategic technology relationships.15+ years developing deep, emerging technologies and deploying those technologies for meaningful business impact at an enterprise scale.Data product definition, development, and deployment.10+ years developing executive-level data analytics and dashboards through platforms such as Splunk, ServiceNow, Azure, and AWS.Expertise in attracting, retaining, and developing highly skilled technical talent, inspiring a highly technical team, and growing an innovative technology organization.Demonstrated success in coordinating across technical and business teams to persuade, coordinate, and develop executive-level content in a collegial and efficient manner.Experience with briefings to senior leaders (e.g., ELT, Board of Directors, high-level customers) and public-facing communications on technology topics (e.g., interviews, panel discussions, and fireside chats).US citizenship is required and able to obtain security clearance as needed.Original Posting Date:
