The Marketing Content Lead is responsible for the coordination of a variety of marketing programs, events, initiatives, promotions, and research projects not limited to the following:Coordinate with external marketing agencies as neededOrganize and manage the asset library for internal and external useLead the development and implementation of Colt’s content strategyManage and update the content calendarCreate and oversee content, including coordinating photography and videographyMonitor and test different content formats and distribution channels for optimal performanceStay current with industry trends and customer needs to refine content strategiesFacilitate customer service inquiries via social media channelsUpdate web content in collaboration with digital marketing, product marketing, and creative teamsAnalyze performance metrics to ensure marketing content effectivenessDevelop internal marketing materials for ColtCreate external marketing materials, such as catalogs and spec sheetsBuild and maintain relationships with internal teams and external organizations to enhance marketing effortCollaborate with Sales and Customer Service to ensure alignment with the company’s branding strategyRepresent Colt at corporate events, trade shows, and conferences as neededIdentify opportunities for improvement within the marketing department and make recommendationsKeep up with industry knowledge through education and trade publicationsAssist management with various marketing projects and additional duties as assignedQualifications
EXPERIENCE AND SPECIALIZED KNOWLEDGE REQUIRED:BA/BS Degree in Business or Marketing, or equivalent experience.Minimum of 5 years of experience in marketing, preferably within the sporting goods industry.Must be detail-oriented with exceptional communication, organizational, and decision-making skills.Proficiency in Microsoft Office is essential.Demonstrated ability to create and maintain a cohesive brand voice across various channels—including print, social media, websites, and PR—through effective use of copy, photography, and video.Must possess a strong sense of taste and an understanding of how to craft compelling and effective content that resonates with target audiences.Must have the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining meticulous attention to detail and accuracy.
