The Marketing Content Lead is responsible for the coordination of a variety of marketing programs, events, initiatives, promotions, and research projects not limited to the following:

Coordinate with external marketing agencies as needed

Organize and manage the asset library for internal and external use

Lead the development and implementation of Colts content strategy

Manage and update the content calendar

Create and oversee content, including coordinating photography and videography

Monitor and test different content formats and distribution channels for optimal performance

Stay current with industry trends and customer needs to refine content strategies

Facilitate customer service inquiries via social media channels

Update web content in collaboration with digital marketing, product marketing, and creative teams

Analyze performance metrics to ensure marketing content effectiveness

Develop internal marketing materials for Colt

Create external marketing materials, such as catalogs and spec sheets

Build and maintain relationships with internal teams and external organizations to enhance marketing effort.

Collaborate with Sales and Customer Service to ensure alignment with the company’s branding strategy

Represent Colt at corporate events, trade shows, and conferences as needed

Identify opportunities for improvement within the marketing department and make recommendations

Keep up with industry knowledge through education and trade publications

Assist management with various marketing projects and additional duties as assigned

EXPERIENCE AND SPECIALIZED KNOWLEDGE REQUIRED:

BA/BS Degree in Business or Marketing, or equivalent experience.

Minimum of 5 years of experience in marketing, preferably within the sporting goods industry.

Must be detail-oriented with exceptional communication, organizational, and decision-making skills.

Proficiency in Microsoft Office is essential.

Demonstrated ability to create and maintain a cohesive brand voice across various channels including print, social media, websites, and PR through effective use of copy, photography, and video.

Must possess a strong sense of taste and an understanding of how to craft compelling and effective content that resonates with target audiences.

Must have the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining meticulous attention to detail and accuracy.
