Position Overview:

The Senior Designer is an important leader of our talented interior design team. You will meet weekly with your design team and the Director of Interior Design and have frequent communication with the Leadership Team. You will meet quarterly with your design team and the Director and annually with the Leadership Team to review Key Performance Indicators (KPIs).

Key Responsibilities:

Guide your team, projects, and clients to keep clients happy.

Create compelling interiors of the highest quality from concept to installation, including Programming, Conceptual/Schematic Design, Design Development, Procurement, and Installation.

Manage all Budgets, Schedules, and Design Presentations & Documents.

Execute on your design – highly skilled in scale, space planning, and executing design concepts.

Collaborate with the Director for guidance and final review of all design presentations.

Design primary spaces and manage/delegate secondary spaces for Architectural Materials, Furnishings & Fabrics, Lighting, Art & Accessories.

Produce Architectural drawings, including delegation of work and final redlines of your design team’s work.

Act as the point of contact on site with builders for Construction Administration.

Collaborate with Purchasing and Logistics Coordinator on project variances in Budget vs Actual and scheduling.

Lead and manage a small team of Associate/Junior interior designers, providing structured mentoring and quality assurance.

To Be Successful You Are:

Degreed and Experienced with a Bachelor's or Master's degree in interior design or architecture from an accredited program.

A minimum of 6 years of interior design experience preferred.

LEED certified a plus; Active Member of ASID/IIDA/AIA.

Complete .3 CEUs annually.

Expert in Hand Drafting/Sketching and AutoCAD; Tech Minded with Revit, Sketchup, and 3D rendering a plus.

Intermediate in Studio Designer and proficient in Microsoft Office applications.

An excellent communicator, both written and verbal, and an experienced manager with a desire to mentor Junior and Associate designers.

Able to interact with High Net Worth clients and manage concurrent projects (up to 8 at one time).

Able to maintain a balanced workflow and meet deadlines.
