Job Description SummaryThe Associate Director of Downstream Marketing will lead the marketing efforts for all products within the PI Oncology Interventional Radiology Franchise. The Associate Director of Downstream Marketing will lead the marketing efforts for all products within the PI Oncology, Interventional Radiology franchise. This role is crucial for executing effective marketing strategies, tactics, and promotional programs to meet the business objectives. Reporting to the Director of Global Marketing, the Associate Director will lead a team dedicated to both short-term and long-term growth strategies in the US and global markets for products such as Ports, Biopsy, and Drainage catheters.
Responsibilities
Develop and implement comprehensive marketing strategies and tactics for the Interventional Radiology product portfolio.
Lead and mentor a team focused on the downstream marketing of Ports, Biopsy, and Drainage catheters, ensuring alignment with business objectives.
Oversee all aspects of advertising and promotion, including new product launches, digital marketing strategies, educational initiatives, and market research activities.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams including sales, finance, regulatory affairs, quality assurance, clinical/medical education, legal, supply chain, and operations.
Manage and optimize marketing budgets, ensuring effective resource allocation and ROI.
Analyze market trends, customer insights, and competitive landscape to inform marketing strategies and identify opportunities for growth.
Analyze financial results against established budgets and annual projections.
Ensure effective planning and training to support product launches.
Collaborate with the innovation team on new market and product opportunities.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree required; MBA preferred.
7-10 years of experience in marketing, with a focus on healthcare or medical devices.
Experience managing and developing direct reports required.
Proven track record in developing and executing successful marketing campaigns and product launches.
Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to effectively communicate at all levels of the organization.
Ability to effectively balance multiple competing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Proven ability to identify, prioritize, advocate for, and execute opportunities that drive growth or enhance business performance.
Displays strong customer focus, including the development of value propositions, identifying needs, creating training programs, and experience working with the sales force and customers.
Strong analytical skills and the ability to leverage data for decision-making.
Ability to travel 20% of the time.
